How to use this pricing calculator
Use this calculator when the question is not just “can we raise prices?” but “how much customer loss can we afford before the change stops making sense?” It is useful for modeling tradeoffs before a rollout or experiment.
What the scenario analysis is for
- No customer loss: shows the upside if pricing goes through cleanly.
- Moderate customer loss: shows whether the move still works if some buyers churn or conversion softens.
- Break-even churn: shows the maximum customer loss you can absorb before the change stops adding revenue.
What this tool does not tell you
It does not tell you how customers will actually respond. That still depends on positioning, plan packaging, existing customer treatment, competitive context, and whether the value story is strong enough to support the new price.
