What is Sutta 423?
Sutta 423 is a source-first Buddhist app that provides direct access to the Buddha's teachings. Instead of modern teachers filtering the Dharma, you engage directly with the ancient texts through immersive audio and linear study paths.
Why '423'?
The number refers to the traditional count of suttas in the Majjhima Nikaya (Middle-Length Discourses) and other collections. It represents the depth of material available when you go directly to the source.
When will the app be available?
Sutta 423 is currently in development. Join our waitlist to be notified when we launch.
Will there be a free version?
Yes. Core features including daily verses and select suttas will be available for free. Premium features like the full canon, advanced study paths, and offline access will require a subscription.
Which translations do you use?
We use AI-generated translations designed for clarity and consistency across the entire Pali Canon. Multiple translation styles are available: Plain English for daily use, Liturgical for chanting, and Psychological for deep study.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes. Downloaded suttas and audio will be available offline so you can practice anywhere without an internet connection.
