• Preferences: Audio settings, translation preferences, and display options are saved locally and synced to your account if logged in.

What We Do Not Collect

• We do not track your reading or listening behavior for advertising purposes
• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use invasive tracking pixels or fingerprinting
• We do not access your contacts, photos, or other device data

Local Storage

Much of your app experience is stored locally on your device. Downloaded suttas, audio files, and preferences remain on your device and do not require an internet connection once downloaded.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate. This helps us improve the experience for all users. We do not track individual behavior or create personal profiles.

Third-Party Services

Sutta 423 may use the following third-party services:

• Payment Processing: If you purchase a subscription, payment is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store your payment information.
• Cloud Sync: Account and progress data is stored securely on encrypted servers to enable cross-device synchronization.

Data Retention

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app. Upon deletion, all personal data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Sutta 423 is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
